Our Vision

We believe the best way to help more people experience the joys of having a pet is a combination of rehoming animals from shelters while improving the standards of breeding facilities to stamp out puppy farms.

We have rehomed over 1000 cats, dogs and reptiles and will continue to do so wherever possible through our store Kellyville Pets and at public events.

But rehoming isn’t an option for all families. In those cases, the best way to meet that is to create a facility that exceeds transparent animal welfare practices to breed happy and healthy puppies when certain breeds cannot be sourced from shelters. That is our vision for Rockley Valley Park.

While the demand for certain breeds continues to grow, the only way to stamp out unscrupulous operators who keep dogs in squalid conditions is to raise the standards of breeding facilities and approaches. We are working with the NSW Government to greatly strengthen legislation governing both the retail and breeding sectors of the pet industry, including a new industry-funded license system to enable authorities and welfare agencies to conduct enforcement activities.

Rockley Valley Park will also be used as a training facility to help raise standards for other breeders across NSW. We plan to hold on-site training seminars where existing and potential dog breeders will be taught best practice dog breeding techniques, with Rockley Valley Park as an example of a model facility.

And we take lifelong responsibility for rehoming all of our dogs and puppies so we know they are always in the best of care.
